Monarch Sands Dive resort offers several excellent areas to snorkel. Equipment is free and package trips are available at front desk. A how to guide is located in the top drop down menu under ACTIVITIES.

Scuba Diving

Dive several dive sites in our area or learn to dive from our excellent PADI certified Master divers. Rates and packages are listed in the drop down menu at the top, under ACTIVITIES.

Kayaking

Enjoy the open water sport of Kayaking. Instructions and rates are located in the drop down menu at the top of page under ACTIVITIES

Horse Backriding

Enjoy a peaceful day of site seeing from atop a gentle horse. Especially bred for the climate and terrain. These sturdy animals will amaze you as they transverse the country side Rates and Schedules are located in the drop down menu at the top under ACTIVITIES

Snorkle Trip


Take our 1/2 day Snorkle trip.. Our pump boat, the “KenKen”, leaves at 9 AM on a 30 minute cruise to a secluded beach where you can see thousands of colorful fish and untouched coral. Return to the Resort for a free lunch prepared by our excellent staff. Underwater Cameras available at gift shop.

Dumaguete Night Life Package

Enjoy the excitement and sounds of Dumaguete night life. Transportation leaves Resort at 8PM. First Stop: GiGie's Karaoke Bar in Banilad. Sing with local Filipino's in GiGie's Nipa hut bar. A combination American Sports Bar and Filipino Karaoke Bar. Filled with friendly staff and local customers, all eager to meet you.

Next stop Dumaguete Boulevard: Stroll the Center of Dumaguete night life with families and lovers as we head north to the street venders who sell Balut and Squid balls. Then on to Why Not Disco Bar where we dance to strobe lights and smoke machines. Returning to your cottage early morning.

Scooter Trip To Valencia

: Take a Day trip up the mountain by scooter. Visit the World War 2 monument to the fallen. This is a 4 hour scooter trip with stops for refreshments. Rough Road/No Road adventure. NOT for someone who has never road a motorcycle before. 2 hour orientation/practice included.

Sunset Cruise

 

A leisurely ride on the Ken-Ken. As we travel westward towards the setting sun. We anchor off the coast and watch the local fisherman arrive for their nightly catch. Lighting the coast like a string of pearls.

Local Market Tour

 

Experience the local markets of Malatapay Dumaguete; {Malatapay market open on Wednesdays only.} Breakfast at our resort as we leave at 8:00 am. Stopping first at Malatapay market. Barter with local tradesmen for their wares. Deals and fresh food abound. Then on to the huge Dumaguete market. Wander through the Fresh Fish, Chicken and Vegetables. Stock up on souvenirs at local stands. Returning, we stop for a picnic lunch on the Boulevard Spread a blanket and enjoy the cool ocean breeze.
